Laser epilation

HAIR REMOVAL WITH LASER

Increased hair on certain parts of the body can lead to problems for medical as well as aesthetic reasons or can be perceived as annoying. In contrast to laser epilation, hair removal by shaving and waxing is only effective for a short time and often leads to ingrown hairs with inflammation of the hair roots.

WHAT LASERS ARE USED?

Depending on the indication and part of the body, different lasers are used for treatment in the Venex center (Nd Yag laser 1060 nm, diode laser 808 nm.)

HOW DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORK?

The laser devices have a cooling system and destroy the hair at the root without injuring the skin. As a rule, several treatments are necessary because the hair can only be effectively destroyed at a certain stage of growth.

To optimize the result, a follow-up treatment should therefore be carried out after 1 to 2 years

Darker, thicker hair and at the same time weakly pigmented skin respond comparatively more quickly than lighter, finer body hair. Unfortunately, completely white hair does not respond to the laser treatment!

If necessary, however, individual white hairs can also be removed with a fine radio frequency needle.

AFTER TREATMENT:

After the treatment, temporary redness, and hypersensitivity similar to sunburn may occur. Such symptoms can be quickly relieved with cooling or the use of anti-inflammatory gels and usually subside after a few days.
