SEBORRHEIC ECZEMA

Seborrheic Eczema is a dermal inflammation on the scalp and face of adults. Reddening and often a fine scaling in the area of the nasolabial fold, chin, forehead, eyebrows, ears and on the hairy head area are typical. In some cases additional

severe itching can occur. Seborrheic Eczema can also occur in newborns on the head (“head gneiss”). In adults, the disease is successfully treated using modern local therapy and medication.
